Tie Dye Skirt in a Beautiful BlueThis light baby blue summer cotton skirt has been made intricately by a tie dye technique that originated from the princely Indian states of Rajasthan and Gujarat around the 6th century. A single piece of cloth, with intricate bandhej (or the square white design), takes more than a week to prepare. In this type of tie-dye the textile is decorated by plucking the cloth with the fingernails into many tiny bindings that form a figurative design. There are delicate small white tie dye patterns all over this 34 inches long skirt. The material is comfortable glazed cotton, ideal for any climate. The skirt is lined from inside to half length.
It has a relaxed fit for carefree movement. It has elastic and a drawstring for sizing flexibility.
- Length: about 34" (can vary a little from piece to piece since its all cottage handwork)
- Waist: 24"-34"(elastic with waistband)
- Material: 100% Cotton; half lined
- Care: Hand wash separately and line dry (due to the dyed colors)
